When someone says “I want an in-your-pocket personality,” they are describing this guy. He’s in your pocket. In your business. In your treat jar. He is that sticky strawberry candy in the bottom of grandma’s purse….he’s always there. He is sweet, he is personable, he is an easy keeper, he is barefoot & he has show experience.
In fact, he is likely going to be the Jockey Club USDF Materiale 3yo of the Year for 2024 (that means he has really, really nice gaits). He will also likely finish Top 5 in the country across all breeds (that means he has really, really, REALLY nice gaits). That also means he comes with a USEF number, & USDF number.
He is not for a complete beginner. He’s 3. He’s green. Show experience doesn’t mean foot perfect at all times. He is a baby in a big boy body. He needs a kind, forgiving rider to continue building his muscle properly, deliberately, & appropriately for his age. Rushing him up the levels because he’s thick & looks like a 5yo ain’t it, chief. He never raced, not even a workout, so he's as close as you can get to purely sporthorse-bred.
He has not been jumped under saddle. He has free jumped, & he did it beautifully. Scope, correct knees, the whole nine yards. But wait til he’s 4 to do it under saddle. His joints & skeleton will thank you.
He is priced extremely attractively because, as my friend Katy said to me, I have “girl bossed too close to the sun,” & have more horses arriving than I have stalls available. Call me Icarus.
No vices, UTD on absolutely everything, needs to be in your barn by the end of August. The price listed below is negotiable to the right program.
